Red McFly is a well-known artist who has collaborated with many others, including French Montana, Max B, Lil Flip, Peedi Crack, and many more. He has won many awards, including Artist of the Year, Best Producer, and Lyricist of the Year. But he took a short break to focus mainly on making music for other artists. But after meeting Benny The Butcher, with whom he has some things in common, like making independent music with his family, Red slowly started recording again.
“Balaclava,” the first single and video from the album, got a lot of attention quickly, which surprised Red. Both his old fans and new ones loved the song and gave it high marks. But Red didn’t stop there. The album’s second single and video, “Leave Me Alone,” which samples the classic Michael Jackson song of the same name, sent the internet into a frenzy as Red flowed easily over a drill beat with MJ’s vocals in the background. Fans asked Red for an album right away, and he gave them what they wanted.
13 tracks, all of which were executive produced by Meztheprod, range from club anthems (“We Up” and“For So Long”) to fast-paced tracks (“Life Is Crazy” and “2 Of Them” with longtime collaborator Vera F. Kennedy) to collaborating with Canadian artist Nova Rx (“Bandz”) to pure lyricism (“Pray For Me”) to self-reflection (“Intro” and “Morning at Night”) to showing humility (“Thank (“Out My Mind”).
