Rising stars Ronnie Raxz and Slatt Zy team up for the release of their latest collaboration in the heavy bass-driven new hit song “No Favors.”
“No Favors” marks a new beginning for Ronnie Raxz as he recruits the Capitol Records-signed Slatt Zy, who is well known for hits such as “How it Go” featuring Hotboii and “First year” featuring Pooh Shiesty. For most, the new single is the perfect jump-on point to get familiar with Ronnie Raxz as he ascends to the mainstream landscape.
Born Edroyce Barron from Dayton Ohio, Raxz has been passionate about Music since the age of 14. In 2009 he got in trouble with the law which caused him to do 10 years in prison. Despite the mistakes he made, he never gave up on his dreams and continued to write music. While incarcerated his mom Ronica A.K.A (Ronnie) passed away.
He wanted to keep her name and legacy alive and that’s where the name Ronnie Raxz was born, not only having to deal with the lost of his mother his father (Rodger Thomas) then pass later 6 months before he was released. He got out of prison in February 2021 and hit the ground running. He incorporated his record label Fresh Off A Stretch Entertainment which targets ex-convicts. He wants to inspire people that made mistakes in the past and let them know there’s always a second chance to get it right.
Since being home he has released a Single “Didn’t love you” in June 2021 and released his first EP “Fresh off a stretch” in January of 2022. Since Raxz has landed a distribution deal with Authentic Empire this past February 2022, and recently linking up with CEO King Carter as his liaison which he is known for finding artists such as “Da Baby” and “Toosii”.
Raxz says there’s more to follow down the line he speaks on his single with Sally Sossa, an artist signed to Interscope Records and is well known for her single “Star” featuring Lil Durk. He’s excited to see the reaction of his fellow peers that was incarcerated with him, he says “So many people supported me I can’t wait for them to see the work I put in.”
