A City rich for its legacy like Art Deco, Beaux-Arts, and Neoclassical styles in North Carolina named as Asheville and this is the place where Greg “Money-Man ” Jones was born and raised. Asheville did not entertain any kind of parties and events so our question is “How this Asheville bred guy is now a successful event manager and CEO of Skyline Entertainment LLC?”
So let’s go back to 2008 and hear the little interesting story of Greg. Greg, born in Asheville was a “Party guy, he liked to throw parties and small events to keep his people entertained. Due to lack of resources and a suitable place, he tended to organize parties at Gyms or any specific person’s House.
Jones shifted to Charlotte, one of the most populous cities in the United States of America. He planned to sign up at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) after his freshman year but due to unusual circumstances, there was a change in plan. During this event, his friend named Vario made him aware that people earn their daily bread by doing parties and this captivated Greg’s Attention as if he was born for this.
His first party at the restaurant “Pop a Top ” was a successful one which made him popular among the town. Later he got many calls from people requesting him to be the event organizer. Later, there was nothing stopping him, he threw plenty of parties after his first party was a victory. He organized many events for college students too basically only for adults and for celebrities too back in 2008 and since then he never stopped.
Greg considers his journey as “Smooth” besides there were many feuds with other promoters and nightclubs but this did not affect him or his career at all. It was challenging for Greg after he started the entertainment business in Charlotte as he was new to the City and its way of working but his passion made him understand how to go along with everything happening around him. Or in short “He understood the Assignment!”
He appeared in a Radio station, a VJ at Streetz 103.3 and it was his first accomplishment.
Now coming to his professional accomplishment, the event which made him Viral. He organized an All-Star weekend event in Atlanta along with the team he has built over the years. The people were amazed by the staff management, Venue selection, talented artists, and wonderful weather. Everything was on his side that weekend which ended up bringing more Celebs to the party and caught a lot of attention.
He has also been working on Music Label Project with some of the artists with a scope of making it a successful one as his previous events in Charlotte as the party environment has gone better since the first covid outbreak. He also wants to work in Atlanta and Vegas as it is well known for its nightlife and entertainment world.
