The third studio LP from Maxo Kream, WEIGHT OF THE WORLD, was released back in October. It contained 16 songs and guest appearances from The Creator, Tyler, Monaleo, Freddie Gibbs, A$AP Rocky, and Don Toliver. In today’s release (July 27), the rapper unveils the deluxe version of the aforementioned album, which includes six new songs and collaborations with Benny The Butcher, Peso Peso, KCG Josh, Anderson .Paak, and Babyface Ray.
There are three tracks that stand out on WEIGHT OF THE WORLD (Deluxe): “FOOTBALL HEADS,” “THE VISION” and “JIGGA DAME.” Among the other highlights is D.A. Got That Dope- composed “TACO SHELLS,” an energetic track with the same no-frills content that Maxo Kream has become known for:
WEIGHT OF THE WORLD is the follow-up to Maxo Kream’s highly anticipated sophomore album Brandon Banks, a 15-song collection with contributions from Travis Scott, ScHoolboy Q, and Megan Thee Stallion. In a recent episode of “Dairy Ashford Bastard,” Brandon Banks explores how Maxo Kream and his father have had a tumultuous but loving relationship.
