There’s nobody who’s more determined to keep R&B alive than Kenyon Dixon. Watts multi-talent has made a point of defending and reshaping the artform when it comes to vocalizing to the masses:
I’m never gonna let y’all down with R&B because the music is divine. These ideas do not originate from me. Consistency comes from being obedient to my inner call to create what I feel led to do. Being willing and showing up are all you need when it’s a part of your purpose.”
This morning (Jan. 14), Dixon has teamed up with the equally stunning Tiffany Gouche for their latest collaboration “Love On Replay,” in which the artists exude the kind of vibes perfect for a bedroom with someone you love:
Earlier this year, Dixon released Expectations, a disc featuring 18 tracks that also incorporated contributions from V. Bozeman, Alex Isley, Aaron Cole, Jade Novah, Avery Wilson, and Ré Lxuise. A variant of his forthcoming album, Expectations: An R&B Symphony, was recorded with Dontae Winslow a few days before 2022 arrived. A remix of Tiffany Gouche’s 2012 mixtape Lionheart was released last month, with a 15-track masterpiece Lionheart Remastered. Her latest musical collaboration is “Shine,” which is a high-quality collaboration with Robert Glasper and D Smoke.
