Describing YUME as a mix of rap Aaliyah and Travis Scott, Hip Hop legend Lil Kim showed all her support and love to rising artist YUME last night at her exclusive dinner mixer at Catch Steak in New York. The successful event showcased YUME’s debut single “Do It Better” and gave those attending the opportunity to meet the musical trailblazer.
Among those attending YUME’s event were the Queen of Rap, Lil Kim and Christian Combs, whom were all supporting the 15 year old artist, who has co-produced top charting tracks such as Chris Brown and Young Thug’s “Go Crazy” and Drake and Kid Cuddi’s “IMY2.” Invitees got to enjoy a good night while getting to talk to the recording artist about her past work and forthcoming music and collaborations. Taking over the music scene at such a young age and now working on her own music, YUME’s preparing to release her debut project which will be executive produced by none other than the Queen of Rap herself, Lil Kim. YUME will also be an executive producer on Lil Kim’s upcoming album.
