The 66th GRAMMY Awards were celebrated at TikTok with the artists who made their mark on millions of For You feeds across the world. This year’s GRAMMY nominees and winners once again demonstrate the power of the TikTok community in turning songs into culture-defining trends, catapulting artists and genres to the mainstream, and fueling certified hits that gained industry recognition.
So many artists who have made their home on TikTok were recognized for their contributions by The Recording Academy. - @icespicee*: The Princess of Rap may as well add another title to her signature: the princess of TikTok. Ice Spice has amassed a TikTok following of over 10M as her hits create a chain reaction on For You feeds, from “Deli” (over 539k posts) as the backdrop to fans’ alter ego posts to “Barbie World” (over 2.3M posts) — up for Best Rap Song alongside Nicki Minaj and Aqua — becoming ubiquitous with 2023: the Year of the Girl, driving the rise of #Barbiecore outfits and glam.
- @officialjellyroll: 2023 was a renaissance year for country music as contemporary artists ushered in a new era for the genre. Jelly Roll, also up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for his track “Save Me” with Lainey Wilson (over 150k posts), found a massive audience on TikTok as a staggering 14.5M viewers celebrated his video, where he shared the nomination news with his mom.
- @victoriamonet: Special honoree at TikTok and Variety’s GRAMMY Cover Party and part of #BlackTikTok 2024 Visionary Voices, Monét is highly decorated with seven nominations headed into the weekend’s awards, including Best R&B Song for her hit “On My Mama,” which spurred more than 30M views through the #OnMyMamaChallenge, and over 312k posts.

- @mileycyrus – Flowers: Predicted frontrunner and also up for Best Pop Solo Performance, creators have leveraged “Flowers” in over 6.3M TikTok posts, inspiring one of the most popular makeup transition trends.
- @billieeilish* – What Was I Made For?: “What Was I Made For?” is up for several categories, including Best Music Video, and with over 2.5M posts, the Barbie single has become the de facto anthem for creators to share their own journeys in girlhood.
- SZA – Kill Bill: The most-nominated artist of the night, including Best R&B Performance, SZA has garnered over 1.93M posts under “Kill Bill,” with creators featuring the audio to dramatically showcase their best revenge looks.
- @taylorswift* – Anti-Hero: We don’t need to tell you about Taylor Swift’s influence. Her hit “Anti-Hero” inspired over 1.2M posts on TikTok, providing the perfect audio for creators to admit their own faults or chat about problems in their lives.
- @dualipaofficial – Dance The Night: Garnered over 591.7k posts on TikTok, inspiring recreations of the iconic choreography from Barbie.
- @livbedumb* – Vampire: “Vampire” is the soundtrack to over 409k posts as creators recap their achievements in rapid-fire montages.
Best Pop Solo Performance
- @dojacat – Paint the Town Red: Coming in at #1 on the inaugural TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart, “Paint the Town Red” racked up over 2.8M posts, with users creating their own choreography to the hit.
Best Pop Duo/Group Performance
- @labrinth featuring @billieeilish* – Never Felt So Alone: With over 1.8M posts, creators aren’t feeling alone with this track as they spotlight the person who has their heart. A Coachella performance of the song by Billie and Labrinth garnered over 1.7M views on TikTok.
Best Pop Dance Recording
- @kylieminogue – Padam Padam: Kylie Minogue is Mother as “Padam Padam” (over 41.2k posts) became the anthem of Pride 2023, inspiring choreography praised by Kylie herself.
- @troyesivan* – Rush: Troye’s music videos — also nominated for Best Music Video — were a cultural reset, inspiring legendary choreography that took For You feeds by storm with over 40k posts.
Best R&B Performance
- @cocojones – ICU: With over 128k posts featuring breakthrough track “ICU” — also up for Best R&B Song — Coco Jones is the moment as she offered her 3M TikTok followers an intimate glimpse into her rising stardom. She joins Victoria Monét as part of the #BlackTikTok 2024 Visionary Voices List.

- SZA – Snooze: One of SZA’s most acclaimed hits to date and at over 338.6k posts, TikTok users took to For You feeds to share their stories of love and the relatability of the track.

- @coileray* – Players: Coi Leray is a first-time GRAMMY nominee for her trending hit “Players,” spurring over 1.1M posts that sparked a worldwide dance trend even celebrities and influencers couldn’t resist jumping on.
- Drake* & @21savage – Rich Flex: Also up for Best Rap Song, “Rich Flex” drove over 290k meme-inspired posts memorializing Champagne Papi’s verse on the track.

- @liluzivert – Just Wanna Rock: With over 1M posts, “Just Wanna Rock” proves that club and rap go hand in hand, and both have a home on TikTok, as remixed variations of the track rose in popularity through creator choreography.

- @lukecombs – Fast Car: Applauded for its deep sentimentality and nostalgic roots, Luke Combs’ cover of “Fast Car” by the iconic Tracy Chapman sparked over 210k video creations as users share their own tender stories.

- @morganwallen – Last Night: Credited for its impact in bringing country to the mainstream, Wallen’s “Last Night” has inspired over 225k posts on TikTok.
Best Global Music Performance
- @burnaboyofficial – Alone: Featured in the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack, “Alone” is reigning at over 40.8k posts, serving as the backdrop to Black Panther-inspired videos and TikToks from the movie’s actors.
- @davido – Feel: Davido’s “Feel” propelled over 724.4k posts, including Afro-inspired choreography from Davido himself as he performed alongside students.
Best African Music Performance
- @tyla_ – Water: Tyla has ascended to pop princess status, amassing over 7M followers and 1.8M posts leveraging “Water” as the #TylaWater and #TylaWaterChallenge took over living rooms, the beach and late night.
