0-11 Myaap shares new video for "2 Easy"

Myaap, the woman at the forefront of Milwaukee’s burgeoning rap scene, has just released a new music video for “2 Easy”. The track is from her recently-released mixtape BIG MYAAP, NOT THE LIL ONE, which arrived in February led by its lead single “I Ain’t Hidin” (feat. Mg Sleepy). While Milwaukee’s Rap scene has existed for decades, it has long been an unsung hero in the eyes of the mainstream, existing (and thriving) in the shadow of much larger, more prominent metropolitan heavy-weights. Truly Midwestern in its fusion of subcultures, it exists at the crossroads of America: Southern in its influences, Eastern in its sentiments, and undeniably West Coast in the celebration of carefree jouissance. Myaap stands at the forefront of her city’s cultural moment, lending herself to the foray of TikTok virality and forward-thinking sonics, backed by her recent phenomenon “Getting to It”, which samples ABBA’s “Dancing Queen”, and other standout tracks like “Wham” and “Party Crackin” (1.3M+ Streams).

Myaap‘s newest tape BIG MYAAP, NOT THE LIL ONE finds her solidifying her spot that she’s carved out for herself by continuing to infuse her region’s scene with danceable raps, bouncy energy and playful wordplay. BIG MYAAP, NOT THE LIL ONE follows 2023’s Worth the Wait in Myaap‘s rapid ascension and trendsetting knack, featuring seven new street-inspired, dance-ready songs. Despite releasing her first track only a year ago, Myaap has quickly garnered a cult-like following, accumulating over 6 Million accumulative streams for her performances over bass-heavy, high-BPM beats that combine Southern bounce with more contemporary songs coming out of the Chicago and Detroit street rap scenes. As a testament to her recent success, Myaap is currently on the road performing as an opener for Veeze on the second leg of his Ganger Tour. With her new video for “2 Easy” – out now, Myaap is keeping her hot streak alive before she gets ready to drop more music later this year.
