Recently, Songstress Marsha Ambrosius’ “Friends & Lovers” show stopped here in Atlanta and HHS1987 has the chance to speak with her about her tour, her “Friends & Lovers” project and much more.
After rocking a sold out show at Atlanta’s Center Stage, Marsha Ambrosius sat down to give us a little insight on her “Friends & Lovers” tour and why she decided to kick off this tour for her sophomore album. Marsha explained that she wanted to give her fans a chance to experience the project and experience a night like no other. Marsha also explained that although this is her sophomore album, for her it’s fourteen years of hard work and great music.
We also spoke with Marsha about the current state of music and what we can see next from here. Recently it was reported that no albums released this year have gone platinum expect Disney’s Frozen Soundtrack. We spoke to Marsha about the ever changing music industry and if she aims to make platinum hits when composing music or does she look to please her fans. Marsha broke down her motives when recording music and also spoke to us about a possible acting career.
Before concluding the interview, Marsha spoke to us about her future and what we can expect from her. As Marsha continues to travel the nation with her “Friends & Lovers”, she also informed us that she will be looking to head overseas for a tour following her tour here in states, that she is looking forward to spending her second Christmas in the states this winter in Los Angeles and to be afraid of what she does next. Much Love to the Muddy Waters Group for putting together a great night here in Atlanta.
