A few months ago it was announced that Jay Z was putting in a $56 million bid to purchase Aspiro’s television and music streaming service. Aspiro AB’s minority shareholers association have voiced that the Shawn Carter Enterprises subsidiary Project Panther Bidco should be rejected because they haven’t “made clear it’s plans for international expansion, nor the calculations that went into the initial $56 million bid.” Senior executives that make up the majority shareholders have recommended that they bid be accepted.
Project Panther Bidco and the minority shareholders of Aspiro have until March 11 to work on negotiations before the bid has to be officially denied or accepted, according to Billboard.
