Page is back with a new project called “Knowing Better”. The Norfolk, VA native gives us a glimpse into his world with 12 amazing tracks straight from the heart. He covers a lot of different subjects throughout the project touching on such topics as the struggle, the treatment of women and kids in the community and he finds time in the project to touch on the lighter part of life too. The stand out tracks include the amazing intro to the project called “Venting”, where you find him spitting bars such as:
Im from the city where even killers get shot,
And everybody is something or somebody they not,
they chill around you to learn you then try to come for spot,
and niggas be ego trippin and dey don’t even be hot!
Page finishes up the project with a very personal track called “Good Man” where he questions the streets he grew up in and gives us insight into his personal life with us son with such lines as:
His mother is angry and jealous and I know she hates me a lot,
But I been there since the beginning and they will have to kill me to stop
Why you so mad when he mentions me why you lying just to get sympathy
Why you pretending you got a baby daddy struggle cause I never committed cause I couldn’t love you
I break hearts guess i got to pay the price most women would be happy he got Father in his life
The project in a whole is a must listen but if you just want to get a feeling of who he is make sure you listen to “I Don’t Wanna Talk”, ‘Already Know” and “Cartoons’.
