Tension between Black American citizens and police officers across the nation has been high over the past few years in large part to the police brutality that is taking place here in America but someone here in Atlanta is depicting the tension in a different way. In the midtown section of Atlanta, a moral of sorts has popped up with the caption “Negro Season” and a Elmer Fudd like character holding a gun quietly hurting.
The picture was painting on the side of a Allied Barton (security) housed building not far from the SCAD art school. What are your thoughts on this painting?
