Tonight Week 8 of the 2015 NFL season kicks off tonight as the undefeated (6-0) New England Patriots host the (3-3) Miami Dolphins. This should be a good one!
This AFC East matchup features two of the hottest teams in the NFL over the past two weeks. Since firing their former head coach Joe Philbin, the Dolphins are (2-0) and have looked like they are ready to live up to the preseason hype where many had the Dolphins as a playoff team this year.
The New England Patriots have been great all year and that has mainly been because of the play of quarterback Tom Brady. The Patriots are off to one of their best starts in franchise history and if Brady continues on this path, this could be his best season yet!
I expect this to be a shoot out at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts and although the Patriots have dominated all season, I believe we will see the Patriots take their first lost this season. Look for the Dolphins offense to come out firing tonight. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill to toss 2 touchdown passes and account for over 250 yards passing. The Dolphins running game will also have a good night. Look for Lamar Miller to account for over 125 total yards and a touchdown.
The Patriots offense will take a step back tonight. Look for Gronk and Brady to get going early but defensive adjustments by Miami will force the Patriots to run the ball often. Brady will pass for over 200 but will toss two interceptions tonight. Blount will have a good night with two rushing touchdowns but that won’t be enough.
