With the start of the 2016-17 NBA season about two and half months away, match ups and scheduling is beginning to surface and we now know what the biggest game will be on Christmas Day.
On December 25th 2016, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Golden State Warriors in a rematch of the 2015 and 2016 NBA Finals. These who teams also faced each other on December 25th,2015 in Oakland. According to ESPN,
Sources say the centerpiece of the league’s annual Christmas Day schedule, meanwhile, is a rematch of the NBA Finals and a repeat of the Warriors-Cleveland Cavaliers showdown from last Christmas.
But this Dec. 25 meeting, sources say, is scheduled to happen in Cleveland, allowing the reigning champion Cavaliers to spend the holiday at home. Last Christmas, Golden State was the home team as defending champion.
