The Weeknd just announced his new album “Starboy” on Instagram! The forthcoming album follows the widely successful “Beauty Behind the Madness.” The cover art for the album was also shot by photographer to the stars, Nabil, who has worked with the likes of Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Frank Ocean and more. And if you notice, The Weeknd is even rockin’ his freshly cut hair!
Earlier in the month, The Weeknd stated that “Starry” would be his “best-sounding” album to date. He further explains: “it’s hard to label the sound because when I first came out, nobody would label it R&B. I just want to keep pushing the envelope without it feeling forced.” As far subject matter goes, expect to hear an array of topics being spotlighted throughout the project – including religion, materialism, and more.
