The Atlanta Hawks stand at (9-5) and are currently on a three game losing streak after losing to the (5-10) New Orleans Pelicans last night at Philips Arena (112-94). Following last night’s victory we caught up with New Orleans Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry as well as Pelicans stars Anthony Davis, Tim Frazier, Jrue Holiday and Terrence Jones.
For the New Orleans Pelicans, they started off strong with a 34-14 first quarter lead and they never looked back. Pelicans head coach Alvin Gentry spoke on the play of the Pelicans early against a very good Atalnta Hawks tea,
Pelicans point guard Tim Frazier was huge for New Orleans last night scoring 21 points and dishing out 14 assist. Frazier spoke on the Pelicans staying focused after Anthony Davis’ injury and facing Dennis Schroder. Anthony Davis spoke on his injury, facing Dwight Howard and what the team need to do to continue to improve.
Pelicans big man Terrence Jones was under the weather but he managed to score 17 points after Pelicans star Anthony Davis left the game early after diving into the stands after a loose ball.
