Can you believe it’s been two decades since we lost one of Hip Hop’s legends? Tupac Shakur was tragically shot in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996. Fingers pointed at the escalating East Cost vs. West Coast beef between Pac and Biggie as the initiating factor leading up to ‘Pac’s death – and then ultimately, Biggie’s as well. In the years following both of their deaths, up till now, conspiracy theories have evaded pop culture. Who shot ‘Pac? Who killed Biggie?
Well, in recent reports by The Independent, Suge Knight’s attorney wrote (in a signed affidavit) that Knight knew who killed Pac all these years. According to Thaddeus Culpepper, Knight’s attorney, the Death Row CEO knew “for many years that his ex-wife, Sharitha, was the mastermind behind the murder of Tupac. And attempted murder of Knight.” Knight backs up his theory, stating that he was the sole target the night ‘Pac was shot.
Knight was always hesitant to speak on Pac’s death and his killer. But all is changing now, as he has spoken out in a new documentary titled, “Tupac Assassination: Battle For Compton.”
