The son of a man named Robert Griffin was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Turns out, Collin Griffin, is a HUGE J. Cole fan, so his father reached out to Dreamville rapper, Bas, with a special request.
“All he wants is to meet J. Cole. Please help me Bas,” Mr. Griffin Tweeted. And just a few hours later, Bas replied, “Check your DMs champ.”
And a few days later, Collin was on his way backstage to meet J. Cole at one of his tour stops. Check out the Tweets and photos below!

Interestingly enough, Cole touched on a similar experience in his song, “Roll Call.”
“Told me that my song was the reason he beat cancer. Ain’t know what to say, I just froze. Little too deep, I suppose..”
