Apparently, Nicki Minaj did not arrive on time for her performance at Philipp Plein’s Fashion Week after-show party at 1Oak in New York City last night. According to sources, the Rap diva’s empty stomach had her an hour late because, well.. she wanted to eat chicken. But not just any ol’ drumstick or thigh.
“She refused to go onstage until she got her Popeyes f**king chicken. The production team had to send someone out to get her chicken,” an insider shared.A well-fed Nicki later took to the stage as she performed her hit singles, including her latest collaboration with Yo Gotti, “Rake it Up.”
