Hip Hop icons, The Roots, have released the latest installment of NPR Music’s iconic Tiny Desk concert series – which premiered on NPR’s website today. The legendary Roots crew performed “It Ain’t Fair” Ft. Bilal from the original soundtrack of the critically acclaimed motion picture, “Detroit.”
“It’ Ain’t Fair was designed to emphasize the importance of social justice through the prism of late-sixties Detroit, which means many things culturally, and politically. And also certain things, musically. Music has the power to express both anguish and hope,” explained Questlove.
