Black Eyed Peas pairs their new single, “Street Livin” with a politically charged visual. The black-and-white video features clips of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King Jr. and more. In each scene, different subjects are seen rhyming along to the track – comprised of lyrics that shed light on several societal ills.
“Prison Industrial Complex. Immigration. Gun Violence. Police Brutality. These issues are critical for our families, friends, communities, and world. Stay Woke, Take Action Now,” shared BEP.
According to will.i.am, “Street Livin” is just the introductory look into a new journey for the group’s post-Fergie era. Watch below.
