Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley won his 4th GRAMMY Award last night, winning “Best Reggae Album” for “Stony Hill.” Released back in July of 2017, “Stony Hill” was Damian’s first solo album in a decade, comprised of 18 new tracks. The album boasted a mixture of roots jams and dancehall bangers infused with tons of political insight.
In addition to his GRAMMY win, Damian recently debuted the visuals for “Speak Life,” which premiered globally on TIDAL. This year, the youngest Marley is gearing up for a US festival run – which includes appearances at Reggae Rise Up in Florida, Kaya Festival in California, and Governors Ball in New York City.
