Talk about being prepared for your opportunity. After a successful (15-0) season where he helped groom Joe Burrow to become a Heisman winner and helped LSU’s football program win the National Championship, Joe Brady has a new role.
The former LSU passing game coordinator has agreed to term to become the new offensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers. The 30 year old will join new Panthers head coach Matt Rhule and Brady has been granted the power to select his own coaching staff. Brady has two years of NFL experience as he served on the New Orleans Saints staff from 2017 to 2018.
With the news of Joe Brady to the Panthers, don’t be shocked if the Panthers package their 1st round pick, future picks and Cam Newton to Cincinnati for the #1 pick aka Joe Burrow. #keeppounding pic.twitter.com/Xt5PMbveOr

If you ask me, Brady’s move to Carolina smells like the Panthers have a trick up their sleeve. The Panthers could be in the market for a quarterback and with the 7th overall pick in the 2020 NFL, the Panthers may look to make a big trade. I can very easily see the Panthers packaging their first, second and first first round pick along with Cam Newton to the Cincinnati Bengals in exchange for the Bengals first round pick. If that happens, Brady and Burrow are reunited in the NFL.
