NBA stars, fans, celebrities and family members all gathered at Staples Center in Los Angeles earlier today to honor the lives of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant during a special memorial service “A Celebration of Life: Remembering Kobe and Gianna Bryant”.
To open the event, Vanessa Bryant asked entertainment icon Beyonce to perform two of Kobe’s favorite songs, “XO” and “Halo”.
“I’m here because I love Kobe and this was one of his favorite songs. So, I want to start that over but I want us to do it all together, and I want you to sing it so loud that he’ll hear your love”, Beyonce stated before performing.
