The NBA could take new measures as the United States and World prepares and deals with the Coronavirus scare that is spreading across the country.
As the concerns for the Coronavirus continue to rise in America, the NBA recently asked players to no longer high five fans, to instead fist bump them and avoid taking jerseys, pens and basketballs to sign autographs for fans. The next step if it ever has to happen would be huge for the NBA and NBA fans.

The NBA sent teams a Memo asking them to be prepared just in case games have to be played with out fans in attendance. If this were to happen, teams would have limited staff and folks such as media members, lower level staff members and fans wouldn’t be allowed to attend the games.

NBA superstar LeBron James spoke out basically saying if there aren’t fans at the games, he won’t be playing. “If I ain’t got the fans in the crowd, that’s what I play for. I play for my teammates, I play for the fans. That’s what it’s all about. If I show up to an arena, and there ain’t no fans there? I ain’t playing. So, they could do what they want to do.” – Lebron James
It will be very interesting to see where this goes. With events like SXSW 2020 already being canceled, sporting events could be next. Stay tuned to HHS1987.com. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your NBA and sports news.
