Atlanta Native and Tropical/Pop Singer-Songwriter CRISTNA to Perform During Halftime
On Wednesday, March 11, the Atlanta Hawks and Z-105.3, Atlanta’s premier station for Latin hits, will honor the rich culture of NBA fans and players across Latin American and U.S. Hispanic communities during Hispanic Heritage Night as the team takes on New York at 7:30 p.m. at the award-winning State Farm Arena. The game is part of the NBA’s 14th Annual Noches Ène Bé A Latin Nights program.
The Latin influence will be reflected in the Hawks game experience through music, dance, food and more. Z105.3 talent, Orlando Rosa, Karla Rodriguez and JR Montano, will make special appearances throughout the night including announcing the starting lineup in Spanish, hosting an in-game DJ spot, and emceeing on-court games, as well as help lead the pregame mariachi band parade on the concourse. Atlanta restauranteur Adrian Villarreal will be the featured Guest Chef at Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Club and the upper concourse. He will serve selections from his popular Rreal Tacos restaurant.
Tropical/pop singer-songwriter CRISTNA will perform at halftime. An Atlanta native, CRISTNA, who serves as a Brand Ambassador of the National Black & Latino Council, a non-profit professional organization for Hispanic, Latino, & African American professionals, small business owners, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, government officials & media industry representatives. CRISTNA was the first female Hispanic artist awarded the prestigious Georgia Music Hall of Fame’s Bill Lowery Horizon Award.
During a break in the game, fans will also enjoy a performance from World Salsa Champions Karen y Ricardo from NBC’s hit dance competition series World of Dance.
A special ticket package for Hispanic Heritage Night is available for purchase at hawks.com/hispanicheritage. The package includes a ticket to the game, a $10 credit that can be used toward food and beverage or any purchase at the Hawks Shop. A portion of each ticket sold will be donated to the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Hispanic Business Center, which provides educational programs, seminars, workshops and curriculum to accelerate the growth of Hispanic businesses.
