With all the right co-signs (like Gucci Mane) and a unique flow that splits the difference between rap triplets and spoken word, Yung Mal is Atlanta’s next up. Today, the Alamo Records signee reunited with his frequent duo partner Lil Quill for “Exotic,” a flashy new video.
Vibing to the tune of producer Pyrex Whippa’s woozy trap instrumental, Mal & Quill tour Atlanta in a flex-happy mood, racking their brains for new ways to pose with a wad of hundreds.

“Exotic” is the latest release from 6 Rings, Mal’s recent project. Produced entirely by Baltimore’s Pyrex Whippa, 6 Rings received praise from publications like HYPEBEAST and XXL. Sporting appearances from Lil Keed, Lil Gotit, and Doe Boy, the collaborative effort featured 3 of Mal’s fastest-moving singles yet, “Blake Griffin,” “Goin’ Up,” and “Shut Up,” the latter of which racked up over 1 million views on YouTube. Earlier this month, Mal returned with “What’s Poppin,” an ultra-confident new video single (153k views).
