Detroit has always been an influential place when it comes to music, and the rap scene is on fire right now. Rising artist Taje Brannon, musically known as Baby J, is definitely outside with his foot on the gas. Initially born in Ypsilanti, MI but thoroughly raised in the metro Detroit area, Baby J has developed in musically rich city, and it comes to no surprise that he is a creative as well. Preparing to release a new project titled Black Sheep Vol. 1, Baby J is ready for the blast off.
Not new to the music scene, in 2019, he signed a distribution deal with Sony/Orchard, building the foundation for marketing his music. Baby J has collaborated with artists like Royce Da 5’9, Sada Baby, and others. Ready for this year’s stages as well, Baby J has already opened up for some of the best in the game, like Boosie, Twista, and even Plies. In 2021, he shared a single titled “Oh La La” ft. Young Ra, coming into the summer pushing a banger. The single is upbeat, hard-hitting and a perfect vibe for lit playlists. “Oh La La” is just one of many gems Baby J has for music lovers, and much more to come.
