Continuing to celebrate the legacy of the iconic album and the launch of the “Community Linx” program, Raekwon, Diadora, and Foot Locker, Inc. have returned with a new drop – the Diadora N9002 Chicago.
Raekwon, Diadora, and Foot Locker, Inc. collaborated to launch “Community Linx,” a series of product capsules built with and for local communities. With each drop and the help of industry professionals, the trio continues the campaign’s mission of providing rising local music talent with the tools, resources, and insights needed to elevate their game.
Paying homage to Chicago, the sneaker features a blue colorway with a pop of yellow and white adorning the leather upper, a rubber outsole for increased durability and traction, and Raekwon’s signature on the heel. The newest drop is available in men’s sizes exclusively sold at Foot Locker and Champs Sports beginning today, June 29rd for $120. The N9002 is an exclusive model for Foot Locker and Champs. If in Chicago, head to Foot Locker Chicago’s 26-28 S State St, Chicago, IL 60603 to purchase.
To celebrate the release of the Raekwon X Diadora Community Linx “Chicago” N9002, Foot Locker Chicago is hosting a private workshop and panel for up-and-coming artists in the Chicago market centered around industry tips on performing and building your stage presence. Following the discussion, the aspiring participants will perform live at Foot Locker Chicago in front of an intimate crowd of their peers and family. The event will be hosted by Chicago artists Femdot and Rockie Fresh.
Community Linx kicked off earlier this year with an NYC-inspired Diadora N9002 and has continued to make stops in key markets like Philly and most recently Detroit. Raekwon, Diadora, and Foot Locker Inc. have curated invite-only events tailored to each market and support the city’s local up-and-coming artists and stylists. The additional Community Linx launches representing Los Angeles and Houston will roll out through the remainder of the summer.
