It was back in June when Chief Keef announced the launch of 43B, a label he has co-founded with German music entity Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) and its subsidiary RCB Records. Additionally, Lil Gnar was already signed to the fledgling imprint founded by the Chicago legend. A press release explains that 43B stands for Forget Everyone, and Keef himself says it has been in the works for some time:
On yesterday (Aug. 15), Chief Keef debuted a new single from 43B called “Chief So,” which was produced by Young Malcolm, featuring the street-oriented rhymes that the rapper is known for.
The fifth studio album by Chief Keef, 4NEM, was released in December and featured the collaboration of long-time collaborators Tadoe and Ballout. The “I Don’t Like” rapper previously teamed up with Mike WiLL Made-It for successful releases such as “BANG BANG,” “Harley Quinn,” and “Status,” which could lead to the release of a joint album within the near future.
