E-40 announced the release of his new vodka brand – Tycoon Vodka – as part of the expansion of his wine and spirits empire.
The vodka is named after the West Coast legend’s song “Tycoon,” and serves as the latest addition to E-40’s versatile portfolio that includes over 15 different still and sparkling wine offerings under his “Earl Stevens Selections” line, a tequila (E. Cuarenta Tequila), a cognac (Tycoon Cognac), a bourbon (Kuiper Belt Bourbon), a gin (Kuiper Belt Gin), a variety of pre-mixed cocktails (Sluricane) and a golden lager beer (E. Cuarenta Cerveza) with more to come.
Over the past year, he specifically introduced three new wine flavors to his robust “Earl Stevens Selections” wine brands – Blueberry, Strawberry and Orangesicle. His inaugural wine product was the Function Red Blend that he named after his smash single “Function” before he went on to release additional flavors, including the Sweet Red, Chardonnay, Mangoscato, Moscato and Tropiscato, among several others.
The announcement comes a month after E-40 donated $100,000 to his alma mater, Grambling State University, to bolster the university’s marching band and help with the installation of a recording studio, so students can follow their dreams like he did. The University returned the favor by surprising the mogul by naming the studio in his honor as the “Earl ‘E-40’ Stevens Sound Recording Studio.”
Earlier this year, E-40 also launched his new soul food line of his “Goon With The Spoon” ice cream brand and subsequently introduced a new Chicken & Waffles ice cream flavor as the first-ever product.
