Veteran hip-hop legend Emcee N.I.C.E. attained a momentous achievement as he was inducted into the Christian hip-hop Hall of Fame on April 6 in Atlanta, Georgia, amongst other veterans such as Canton Jones, The Gospel Gangstaz, B.B. Jay, James Rousseau and many others.
Also known as Dr. Aulsondro “Novelist” Hamilton, his inclusion among the inaugural honorees of the Gospel Hip Hop and Christian Hip-Hop Hall of Fame underscores his lasting impact on the music scene.Emcee N.I.C.E.’s musical odyssey spans over three decades, commencing with his groundbreaking involvement with “Lighter Shade of Brown.” As a member, he shattered barriers as part of the pioneering Latin rap group to achieve chart success across multiple Billboard categories. Hailing from Los Angeles but raised in El Paso, Emcee N.I.C.E. transitioned into his solo artist Novelist, exhibiting his diverse skill set as a rapper, singer, and producer.In a pivotal moment in 2001, Emcee N.I.C.E. contributed significantly to the production of tracks for 2 Pac’s posthumous album “Better Dayz,” notably crafting the iconic “Thugz Mansion” alongside Nas and J. Phoenix.
