Artist referred to as Keontae Raheem, stemming from Kinston, NC has been on a consistent tear with releasing music since stepping foot on the independent music scene as early as 2011. His last release “RE>ACTIVE” was released in 12/2023 and brought fiery tracks such as “LuCKeD uP” which also features a music video filmed in Kinston. The album has over 100 thousand streams on Spotify currently and is still performing well due to other songs like “Buzz’s Outcry” and “Business”. Keontae performed these songs throughout the NC Triangle area during 2023, taking part in Raleigh’s Hopscotch Fest, Chapel Hill’s famous “Cat’s Cradle”, Local 506 & also headlining events at The Pinhook and surrounding areas. He has also collaborated with international independent acts such as Ste Marriot, ISEH, DysFunky1, Stls’own and others.
He also appeared on Ste Marriot’s “RED” which gained 100,000 plays in summer 2024.
Keontae is currently in the works on his forthcoming album and is set to release his next single “SUPERxVISION” on 8/30 and says there will be new collaborations and surprises on the next project.
