The weekend of August 30th, 2013 marks the second annual Made In America Concert on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia. This event will bring more than 40,000 concert goers to the Philadelphia area. The concert features no Philly artists or even artists representing Philly. We decided to not only take back the night on the one of the busiest weekends in our city, but create our own concert. We want to highlight what’s next, while also paying homage to some of the greats. On Friday August 30th, from 7pm-12am, Earl Chandler LLC and DJ Aktive- will host a concert at The Blockley music hall in Philadelphia. This event will feature performances from many up and coming Philadelphia artists (Spade-O, Asia Sparks, Chase Allen, Sterling Simms, Al 1 Thing, Ape Gang, Phoenix, Jade Alston, Ley Joans with sounds by DJ Aktive and DJ Aye Boogie.
