Major League Baseball couldn’t have asked for anything better. With one game remaining in the 2011 MLB regular season, there are four teams battling tonight for their playoff lives. The Atlanta Braves, the St. Louis Cardinals, the Tampa Bay Rays and the Boston Red Sox.
If all four teams win tonight MLB has set times for potential wild-card games for both races. Any one game playoff would be played Thursday September 29th and would go as followed:
Red Sox vs. Rays in St. Petersburg at 4:07 pm and Cardinals vs. Braves at St. Louis at 8:07pm. With one game to go all four teams are tied in the wild card picture and tonight should bring fireworks. The 2011 post-season will begin Friday September 30th.
