Following Pusha T’s freestyle dissing Drake over “Sweet” last night, Sway got Common to spill the beans on the song after Drake allegedly responded to him at Power 106′s Cali Christmas Concert (literally the last thing he says in the video) where Com was present and had performed earlier in the night with Big Sean.
It kinda sorta makes sense but not really, here he says:
“the verse is about me, but then when you hear some of the stuff on the chorus it’s like you can’t help but think about dude I guess.”
Listen to the song here. It’s just funny at this point because Common’s talking about Drake wanting to make it subliminal when really he shot first and has had maybe 100 interviews since asking about the song and has only brought it up on the day his album dropped.
