Radio personality, Mina SayWhat of Power 99’s Rise N Grind Morning Show has joined the Philadelphia 76ers as an Ambassador. Mina & 76ers “Sixers Strong” community outreach program, will work with Philly’s first Latino youth basketball league, La Liga Del Barrio.
For those who don’t know, the Sixers Strong is the 76ers charitable arm. They focus on community efforts, improving life trajectory of children in the Delaware Valley and more. They help children reach bright futures, educational achievements, as well as expose them to the fun we all know as basketball.
La Liga Del Barrio is the first Latino youth basketball league in Philadelphia. They serve boys and girls ages six through sixteen. They have over twenty eight teams and are currently in its fourteenth season.
