Philadelphia native Mo’Ne Davis has already excepted her new role as a role model for young ladies around the world and her buzz just continues to grow. As her Philadelphia based Mid Atlantic Little League baseball team continues to play for a Little League championship, Mo’Ne Davis has graced the cover of the upcoming Sports Illustrated magazine.
Mo’ne Davis’ 70 mph fastball has been leaving batters confused at the plate and Mo’Ne’s fellow Taney Dragons are hoping her success on the mound continues tonight. Mo’ne is the first female to pitch in the Little League World Series and now she is the first Little Leaguer to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.
