The founder of one of America’s largest fast food chains has passed away early this morning. Truett Cathy, the founder of the ever so popular chicken sandwich chain “Chick-Fil-A” has died at the age of 93 around 1:30 this morning.
Chick-Fil-A was founded in 1967 and has grown to the point were they produced sales of over $5 billion dollars in 2013. Chick-Fil-A is an Atlanta based family owned restaurant company that prides themselves on servicing the community and serving fresh, quality food. Cathy has been credited as being the creator of the original chicken sandwich and pioneering in-mall fast food. Truett Cathy will be greatly missed.
