Young Chris sits down with HHS1987’s B.Wyche to discuss his new mixtape, ‘Network 3’ and more. The Don Cannon hosted project will release on Black Friday. He talked about recording the body work of the project with Chad West and Vidal (from the Grammy Award winning producing duo Dre & Vidal). The other producers on the project was Rico Love, Cardiak and more.

He discussed releasing “Legends Never Die” with Beans & Guordan first off the project. He discussed that was the first verse the fans have heard from Beanie Sigel since he been home. He discussed keeping the features to a minimum on the project. He only has Wale, Neef Buck, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Guordan, and a few up and comers.

When explaining the intro record off his sixteen track project is his favorite, he mentioned he has already shot the visual for it. There will be a few more videos off this project coming soon.

Gunna talks about the difference between ‘Network 3’ and his last mixtape, ‘Gunna Season’. This project has more soulful music, song structure, more like an album whereas ‘Gunna Season’ was his way of showing everyone he can rap, destroying industry beats and more.

When asked about a State Property 3 movie, he said the music is a stepping stone for a movie. He talks about him & Neef each establishing themselves as solo artists, but they haven’t ruled out a possible Young Gunz reunion project.

We couldn’t end the interview without asking Chris about his favorite player, Lebron James. Chris explained he is a Lebron fan, and has not problems saying he followed Lebron from Cleveland to Miami, and back to Cleveland again. When asked about any kicks he missed out on, Chris said he plans on grabbing all three pairs of them Supreme x AF1’s that recently released.

Chris also informed us he will be on the upcoming tour with Wale in 2015 and so much more.

This interview was conducted by HHS1987’s B. Wyche, and shot by Rick Dange.
