On Monday February 13th, the Atlanta Hawks moved on to a record of (32-23) after defeating the (23-32) (109-104) in overtime.

After Paul Millsap hit a game tying two point shot to force overtime, the Atlanta Hawks took control in overtime to leave the Moda Center with a victory. Tim Hardaway Jr. continues to be a hidden gem for the Hawks. Hardaway Jr. shot (8-19) from the floor dropping 25 points in 43 minutes. Hawks all-star Paul Millsap scored 21 points on the night with 9 rebounds. Dwight Howard’s domination in the paint continued in Portland as Dwight put up a double-double scoring 19 points and collecting 16 rebounds. Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder scored 22 points with 4 assist.

For the Portland Trailblazers, C.J. McCollum was RIP City’s leading scorer who dropped 26 points on (9-24) shooting with 5 assist. Trailblazers star Damien Lillard shoot (6-21) from the floor scoring 21 points. Maurice Harkless was (7-15) from the floor scoring 17 points.

The Atlanta Hawks continue their road trip before the 2017 all-star break as they face the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night at Staples Center.
