Dolphins’ Brandon Marshall stabbed & placed in ICU; Sources say he’s going to be ok…Story developing…
Holy crap.
I just saw this tweet from Adam Schefter pass through my feed:
Details still coming into ESPN, but Dolphins WR Brandon Marshal was stabbed and taken to a hospital, where he has been in intensive care.
According to Peter King, it happened last night:
RT @AdamSchefter: Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall stabbed and in a hospital, in intensive care … Happened last night.
King also retweets Marshall’s last tweet, which was at 4:03 yesterday and said “Hair cut time …”.
According to this story at ESPN.com, Marshall was “stabbed by a woman.”
I’m still trying piece together whatever bits of information are floating out on the web. As of 8:00 CT on Saturday morning, the above details are all that have been released.
Let’s just hope Marshall is okay. I hate stories like this.

ESPN reported BMarshall stabbed. Dolphins source told me that team informed by docs that BMarshall is not in imminent danger at this point
Appears to be a domestic dispute and at first team told one version he was hit w broken item but then docs said stabbed

Details still sketchy but someone who knows about Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall being stabbed told ESPN, “He’s going to be OK.”
It is worth mentioning that Marshall has a history of domestic violence in his past. In fact, Marshall’s checkered history was the subject of an Outside the Lines episode, detailed here. We don’t know many details about this incident, so I have no clue if what happened yesterday is related to any past incident, but certainly (and unfortunately) violence like what put Marshall in the hospital is not something foreign to him.

Glazer also reports that the powers-that-be are convinced that Marshall’s wife did the stabbing. Initially, doctors were under the impression that she threw something at Marshall, like a vase or a lamp, that it broke on impact, and that a piece of it impaled him. On closer inspection, doctors concluded that he indeed had been stabbed.
Per Glazer, neither Marshall nor his wife are saying anything about the situation.
