Tonight’s Thursday night NFL matchup features the (4-5) Miami Dolphins traveling to New York to face the (3-6) Buffalo Bills.
The Buffalo Bills started well at 2-1 but have lost 5 of their last 6 games. The Bills have a array of talent on both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball but have not been able to turn that talent in to victories. The Bills have one of the most explosive running backs in the NFL in C.J. Spiller who could have a huge night with running back mate Fred Jackson listed to miss tonights game. The Bills also have many big names on defensive including the big offseason signing of LB/DE Mario Williams but still have the 31 ranked defense in the league.
The Dolphins are a work in progress but are making great progress. After a offseason that included drafting a franchise quarterback in Ryan Tannehill, signing new head coach Joe Philbin and the signing and cutting of pro bowl wide receiver Chad Johnson the Dolphins seem to be moving in the right direction. Reggie Bush is the Dolphins biggest offensive threat and could have a big night after averaging under 4o yards rushing in the last 5 games. Tannehill silently could be in the running for rookie of the year and facing a weak Bills defense could have a big night for fantasy owners.
Despite the Bills talent some how, some way they always get in their own way. This could be a high scoring game and just may surprise viewers tonight. I expect a huge night for Reggie Bush ( 2 touchdowns and over 100 yards rushing) and the Dolphins defense.
