Today the NFL will feature two great postseason match ups

First at 4:30pm EST Andy Dalton, A.J. Green and the Cincinnati Bengals will square off against Andre Johnson and the Houston Texans in Houston then at 8:00pm EST Adrian Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings march into Lambeau Field to face Aaron Rodgers, Charles Woodson the Green Bay Packers.

The Houston Texans looked like this could be their year after week 10, after week 17 they just maybe trending down at the worst time heading into the playoffs. The Bengals however are on a roll going 6-1 in their last 7 games and are back in the postseason for the first time in over 15 years. The Texans have a good defense but Andy Dalton, who played his college ball at TCU in Texas, along with wideout A.J. Green may be too much for this fading defensive group.

The Packers and Vikings will be a great one. Coming off a heated week 17 meeting where Vikings running back Adrian Peterson eclipsed the 2,000 rushing yard mark and was 9 yards short of breaking Eric Dickerson single season rushing record both teams felt like they left alot on the field and should be physical from the kickoff. If Adrian Peterson rushes from over 130 yards Green Bay will be upset and exit this postseason early. Aaron Rodgers will be looking to air it out and if Minnesota is Blitz happy Rodgers may get the best of that Vikings secondary.

In both match ups today I’m going with the road team. Upset Saturday will kickoff the 2012 NFL postseason in a great way

Bengals 31 vs. Teaxans 20

Vikings 27 vs. Packers 24
