2014 is already shaping up to be a great year for Mr. Thanksgiving himself DJ Drama. Billboard broke the news earlier today that DJ Drama will be joining Atlantic Records A&R staff to assist in artist development, find new talent and oversee projects from Atlantic Records artist. The Aphilliates Atlanta based studio (Means Streets Studios) will also serve as home base for Atlantic Record artist in the region. The Gangsta Grillz pioneer and his Aphilliates family (Don Cannon & DJ Sense) have been major contributors to the music industry for over the past ten years with mixtapes, albums, hosting radio programs, touring and more and with DJ Drama’s new position it goes to show us all that hard work truly pays off.
