The 2nd Annual Holiday Jam Concert Series, presented by Live Nation, is set to kick off in Philly on November 28th. The star-studded, R&B lineup features Tyrese, Babyface, New Edition and Jill Scott. Additional appearances by SWV, Jazmine SUllivan and Black Alley Band are also set in place.
For those unfamiliar with the concert series, Holiday Jam initially launched in Philadelphia last year. It has now expanded into three other cities: Washington DC, Hampton VA and Detroit MI.
R&B has always been a counterpart to Hip Hop but rarely celebrated as a genre on its own. Holiday Jam was designed to “elevate and celebrate the genre of R&B, highlighting some of the biggest names in R&B while introducing new and emerging talent.”
