Though both singers have been on a bit of a hiatus from dropping solo albums, they have now brought their talents together to work on a musical. John Legend has taken on the reigns of producer in the stage performance, while the ‘Kaleidoscope Dreams’ crooner is set to play the starring role. The story follows a one-hit wonder who is brought back into the world of music, when called upon to coach a young woman for an upcoming audition for a TV singing competition. Filming is set to begin this September.
Looks like we’ll have to wait ’til then to see how this all plays out (pun intended)!
