Skylar Grey taps Eminem for both production and a guest verse on her new single, “Kill For You” – slated to be on her upcoming third album, “Natural Causes.” Taking some inspiration from his “97 Bonnie & Clyde” single, Eminem produced and penned a musical gem that reflects the same “criminal couple” concept.
“Since the first day I started writing Kill For You, I thought the Bonnie and Clyde message would be more powerful as a duet. I was stoked when Marshall put a verse on it,” shared Grey. The two are frequent collaborators, so it was only natural, we assume, for the two to reconnect on this rather haunting record. Grey’s “Natural Causes” was also executive produced by Em – again, no surprise there.
