On Sunday, Laconic Productions & Talented 10th Productions hosted the exclusive red carpet premiere experience for, “The Plug” Movie. This independent film was a story with all the twists and turns of money, murder and loyalty and premiered at the sold out 444 Theatre full of tastemakers, socialites, influencers and urban culture leaders. Attendees enjoyed a special “Red Carpet Pregame” reception with a soundtrack provided by DJ E. Sudd (2 Chainz official tour DJ), complimentary drinks from Miller Lite, Henry’s Hard Soda, Redd’s Apple Ale and Bomade Organic Lemonade Vodka.
Of course there is no such thing as a good movie without good popcorn, so The Gourmet Popcorn Bar provided delicious complimentary popcorn flavors including: Cookies and Cream, Cheddar, Garlic Parmesan, and Movie Style Butter. The urban film and music community came out in droves to support this film including: Fort Knox (Legendary Hip-Hop host), D’Vante Black (Grammy-Nominated Engineer), Beestroh (Streetz 94.5), representatives from A3C, and many more entertainment influencers.
Proceeding the film, Mr. Daniel Dickey (Founder of The Resource Guild) introduced the Laconic Productions & Talented 10th Productions team right before surprising the packed house with a live performance by Cyhi The Prynce (G.O.O.D Music Artist/Atlanta Native) who amazed the guests with his performance and created a stirring amount of energy and eager anticipation for the film. “The Plug” movie delivered a high level of crowd engagement, gasps and laughter rolled all throughout the theater, as viewers followed every twist and turn “The Plug” had to offer. Immediately following the movie, the cast and crew took the stage to a standing ovation to begin the Q & A, the audience excitedly expressed their love, appreciation and hunger to see more from this production team. Laconic Productions & Talented 10th Productions have plenty of new content on the horizon so stay tuned.
