Who saw this coming? Earlier today, the Chicago Bulls made a splash on the eve of the 2016 NBA Draft trading MVP point guard Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks.
Knicks and Bulls are in advanced talks on a deal to send Derrick Rose to New York, sources tell @ShamsCharania and me.

The Knicks will receive Derrick Rose and Justin Holiday while the Chicago Bulls will receive Robin Lopez, Jose Calderon and a 2017 second round pick. The Bulls knew they would need a big man this offseason with the chance that Joakim Noah and Paul Gasol will leave Chicago. The Knicks are also in a win/win situation because Rose only has one year left on his deal. So if the Big 3 of Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose and Kristaps Porzingis works, the Knicks can resign Derrick Rose to a long term deal during the 2017 offseason. If not, the Knicks can let Rose walk and hit free agency.
The 2016 NBA draft takes place tomorrow night so there may be many more trades within the next 24 hours. Stay tuned to HHS1987 for more NBA news. Follow @eldorado2452 on Twitter and Instagram for all your sports news.
